England make four changes to face South Africa

England Ring the Changes for Crucial Clash with South Africa

England head coach Steve Borthwick has made significant changes to his starting XV for the crucial Autumn Nations Series clash against South Africa. Leicester Tigers duo Jack van Poortvliet and Freddie Steward will start at scrum-half and full-back respectively, replacing Ben Spencer and George Furbank.

Ollie Sleightholme, who impressed with his performances against Australia, will make his first England start on the wing, filling in for the injured Immanuel Feyi-Waboso. Tom Curry's absence due to concussion has paved the way for Sam Underhill to return to the starting line-up.

England will be looking to break their losing streak and secure their first home win since the Six Nations in April. The team has suffered narrow defeats to New Zealand and Australia in recent matches, highlighting their inconsistency.

South Africa, the reigning world champions, will be a formidable opponent. The Springboks, led by captain Siya Kolisi, are fresh off a victory over Scotland and a Rugby Championship title.

Borthwick expressed excitement about the challenge ahead, stating, "Test matches against South Africa are always thrilling contests, and I'm sure Saturday will be no exception."
