UK’s busiest station to close for eight days amid Christmas rail works


 Network Rail has revealed that several key railway stations in London will experience closures and service diversions over the Christmas period. Travelers are encourag9ed to plan their journeys in advance, as Liverpool Street—currently the busiest station in the UK—will be closed for eight days. Paddington will be shut for three days, while there will be nine days of construction work impacting Thameslink and East Midlands services north of St Pancras. Passengers should be mindful of these changes and consider alternative travel options during the festive seasons
