Reports indicate his exclusion was linked to his controversial social media comments made during recent riots. Musk expressed his discontent on X, stating, "I don’t think anyone should go to the UK when they’re releasing convicted pedophiles to imprison people for social media posts." This statement follows the government's decision to release certain prisoners to alleviate overcrowding in jails, though no individuals convicted of serious crimes were among those released.
