Apple Preparing iOS 18.0.1 Update for iPhone Following Several Bugs


 Apple is reportedly testing iOS 18.0.1 for the iPhone, as indicated by our website's analytics this week. Our logs have successfully identified various iOS versions ahead of their official release in the past. We anticipate that iOS 18.0.1 will be a minor update primarily aimed at fixing bugs. Potential issues it may address include touchscreen problems affecting the iPhone 16 series and older models, an iMessage glitch that causes crashes when sharing an Apple Watch face, and a bricking issue with iPadOS 18 impacting certain iPad Pro models equipped with the M4 chip.


The exact release date for iOS 18.0.1 remains uncertain, but we speculate it could be available by the end of next week at the latest.


Following this, iOS 18.1 is set to launch in October, which Apple has already announced. Currently in beta, iOS 18.1 will introduce the first features of Apple Intelligence for the iPhone, including writing tools, notification summaries, and more.
